This Website

The site you’re on now is a stepping stone towards the launch of our new Community Network for Technics Instruments enthusiasts. To migrate 11,000 Members was always going to be a challenge (little did I realise how much of a mountain I had to climb) and you’ll be able to read more about that in my Blog soon if you’re interested in that side of things.

This site lets me move your Membership to the new network of sites and retain your access to all the great Technics Styles and other content on the existing legacy sites at the same time.

This page is to let you know the current status and how to make the best of the websites while I organise the transition here from our Legacy Network.

Below I will add steps for you to follow and links to the sites available right now, with descriptions of what they do and links to visit them.

Existing Members: You’ll be able to access downloads in both the new and old sites immediately. Many more coming in the new site asap.

This is going to filter the downloads that are suitable for your model in due course so it will help you to get the correct files.

Step 03

Logging in and Navigating between Websites.

I’ve now programmed-in a Login and Logout link in the top-right menu. It’s similar to the legacy sites so should feel familiar!

‘The Circle’ at the top left of the site. This opens the side menu where you can navigate between websites. If you have retained the same password then moving between the sites should be easy for you. You can reset your password at any time using the Login link (You have to Log Out to see the Login link!).

Look for ‘The Circle’ button on the top left. Clicking on it shows the list of current websites (which will change).

Step 04

Well, Step 04 is mostly down to me!

I have to enable the downloads, migrate more pages and finish editing them. ‘Turn on the gas’, to speed the server up (it’s in a slow mode for development at the moment. And ensure that your accounts all migrate across smoothly (thanks for being patient recently!). One of the primary things I want to do is to link your accounts with the models of keyboards you own. That information is not coming across from the old sites very easily, I might need your assistance.

But please, chat in the forums, ask questions and have a look around. Any problems, let me know. The Forums will have the ability to accept music files soon and plenty of other fancy things, such as having your own pages to add photos, music, sequencer files, videos etc. In the meantime, have fun!
